Eco Leaders
Our Eco Leaders have started working on The Green Schools Project working with Zero Carbon Schools. Zero Carbon Schools helps schools transform the way they respond to the climate and nature crisis, putting climate education and action at the heart of school life.
The children have been calculating how often different foods feature on our school menu so we can calculate the Carbon Footprint for Rolleston. We have also started creating a travel questionnaire for the whole school to complete

What activities contribute to our school’s carbon footprint?
Mr Vale took us around school and showed us the different ways we use energy at school. We saw the boiler room, the solar panels and the main kitchen!
