World Book Day 2017
What a fantastic day!
Children of all ages loved dressing up as characters from their class book. After an assembly to show off the wide range of outfits, we embarked on a day of exciting activities.
Teachers read stories and classes took part in activities to bring the stories to life. They made puppets, did art work, created book marks, posters and shields and our oldest readers worked some of our young readers to share books.
To round off a brilliant day, Mr Toon bought every child in the school a book to add to their home library, and children received the World Book Day book voucher.
Thank you everyone who contributed to this successful event. The pupils got a great deal of pleasure from it!
