11.01.19 - We are learning about the Jewish celebration Purim. We made graggers (noisemakers) to use for when we listen to the story of Queen Esther.
6/11/18 - We have been learning about Hinduism and how Hindus celebrate Diwali. We dressed up in bright colours, made clay divas, designed henna patterns, made Diwali cards and tasted some barfi. It was a very busy but fun afternoon.
17/10/18 - We listened to a story from the Bible called 'The marvellous picnic'. We discussed whether we would have shared our food if we were the boy from the story. We also discussed what we would try to share with our family and friends. Some of us said we would share our toys with our younger siblings. 1FP then made a loaf of bread as a class, when it had been baked we each tore a piece off and shared it amongst us. The bread was delicious!
08/10/18 - We are learning about Christianity and how they believe the world was created. We looked at wonderful images of our world and all took part in creating our very own wonderful world for our class display.
