We have been learning about fractions. We now know that an improper fraction is where the number on top (numerator) is bigger than the bottom number (denominator) and how to turn that into a mixed number fraction. We can also add and subtract fractions that have the same denominator.

We are currently looking at decimals and we are using our previous knowledge of fractions to learn about the relationship between the two. We now know how to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. E.G. 0.27= 27/100
