Every Friday at Rolleston we have a group of children that participate in a cross country workshop. The children start the session with a dynamic warm up, the main activity will involve the children taking part in a long distance run and then they finish the session with a cool down. The children are given the opportunity throughout the term to share their ideas to the group and give suggestions on warm up and cool down ideas. The cross country workshop has had great benefits to the children's cardiovascular fitness and their overall confidence of standing in front of a group of people and expressing their ideas.
