Change For Life Festival
On Friday 30th June 10 children from year 3 had the opportunity to go to Uppingham School where the School Games were being hosted. The School Games involves school children from all over Leicestershire competing against each other in various sports, although our children were invited to participate in the Change For Life Festival that was also being hosted. The children participated in 6 activities that they had never taken part in before. The children had lots of fun during the day but the two activities that stood out the most was the blindfolded target throwing and the smoothie bike. The children had the chance to mix their own smoothie together by pedalling a bike that was attached to a blender and after 5 minutes of pedalling they were given the chance to drink what they had made.
