Addendum to Policy and blended learning arrangements: January 2021
The school will continue to follow government advice and guide lines regarding the application of remote learning during the current Omicron phase of the pandemic.
If your child is positive with COVID-19 on either a LFT or PCR, the school will provide work via SeeSaw for your child to complete if they are able to. EYFS and KS1 children will be sent a learning timetable with links to learning as per previous arrangements. Please note, it may take up to one day to arrange work on SeeSaw for your child as class teachers will be teaching classes as normal. If you have difficulty accessing any work, or would like more for your child(ren), please contact the office.

Safeguarding Considerations
When staff contact pupils or parents via phone call and they do not have access to a work phone they should always use ‘caller withheld’ to ensure pupil/parent is not able to identify the staff member’s personal contact details
Foundation Stage
Children in Foundation Stage will be set daily tasks using Evidence Me. The tasks will be linked to phonics, maths and other areas of the curriculum. Parents and carers will be able to upload photos of the work completed for the class teacher to look at and this will build part of the child's learning journey.
The staff in Foundation Stage will also be having a daily check in session on Teams to chat with the children and talk about the work for the day.
Key Stage 1
Pupils will have a blended learning grid made available to them each week. This can be accessed either via the Seesaw app or can be found below. This learning grid contains the learning for all the different subject areas and contains the links for a wide variety of educational resources. Pupils will then have a daily Teams meeting to discuss the learning and are welcome to upload their learning to Seesaw where teachers can both assess and provide feedback.
Key Stage 2
When providing remote learning, teachers are responsible for the following;
Planning & Setting work:
Providing feedback on work:
