We learned about Claude Monet. He was a famous French artist. We recreated his famous Water Lilies painting using water colours.
We learned about Frida Kahlo who is a famous Mexican artist. Frida Kahlo mainly painted self-portraits that portrayed her life, feelings and emotions.
Today we used Frida Kahlo's idea to create a self-portrait of ourselves. We chose particular colours to represent our emotions.
Today we used oil pastels to create a piece of artwork using Frida Kahlo's technique.
Ancient Greek Art Workshop. Miss Webb brought in outlines of Greek artefact images for the children. Each child had to look at the artefacts and add in the design and detail. The children then had to colour the images using special pens.
